On April 9, 2012 Attorney General Michael Delaney fired off a scathing letter to Speaker Bill O'Brien, concerning the House Redress Committee, which I am still (as of Tax Day 2012) a member of. I have heard that O'Brien fired back a scathing response, but I have not seen it. Two members of the committee issued the following response video, ostensibly on behalf of the whole committee. They are well-meaning guys, but they do not speak for me:

I have gotten a fair amount of crap from leadership for talking about the petitions on my web site, but Rep. Avard has been producing a cable TV series and a YouTube channel, with (as far as I know) no crappy reception whatsoever.
