Commentary by NH State Rep. Timothy Horrigan
The House Petitions & Redress of Grievances Committee did not yet exist in 2010, but 14 petitions were filed anyway. There was no formal process for acting on them, but an ad-hoc caucus did work on many of these petitions.
Several of these petitions are duplicates of petitions which were filed in 2011-2012.
These petitions are currently available in HTML and PDF format. The PDF files were scanned from photocopies, so they may contain errors and/or may look bad. The files are all bigger than they need to be.
The documents are all dated September 2009 in the headers, but they were in fact officially filed with the House of Representatives at various points during the spring of 2010.
