In this video, petitioner Jeff Frost tells his tale of woe to Rep. Kevin Avard.  Frost was acquitted but he still has many grievances. Basically, he feels that he shouldn't have been prosecuted in the first place. And, understandably, he is hoping to get his legal fees paid by the state. The redress committee voted 7-3 (I was one of the 3 no votes) to award him those fees.

He had to wait till 2013 for any actual legislative action.  And even then a joint resolution went nowhere.  Neither Mr. Frost nor his attorneys testified before the House Judiciary Committee in favor of HJR 2; nor did they do any lobbying.

Extra! Mr Frost sat down with now ex-Rep. Kevin Avard on or before July 18, 2013 to give an update.  He doesn't say anything about the failed joint resolution (which he had nothing to do with) although he does complain about how the Democrats got rid of the Redress Committee.  He blames the Democrats for the fact that he is going to the trouble of expense of suing the Attorney General and many other officials for a large sum of money, even though he probably would have filed the suit even if the Redress Committee still existed:
