I am endorsing Tim Robertson for Governor!
I was tempted to endorse Tim Robertson for Governor of New Hampshire right from the beginning of his quixotic campaign. However, I went ahead and endorsed the incumbent Gov. John Lynch. The events of August 11-13, 2010 proved that I made the wrong choice by supporting Lynch. He did not support me; he even denounced me specifically. I was dissatisfied with Lynch even before those events: I may occasionally vote with the Republicans on some issues, and I may have some serious concerns about the leadership of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, but I am a proud member of the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party. Lynch is not.
Lynch was a good Governor, but it is time for someone else to take over. I support Tim Robertson as the next Governor of New Hampshire.
There are very web few pages about Robertson, so I thought it would useful to put this page up. I know him very well: we have been allies on many issues and we sit on the same row at reps hall: I sit in Seat #2-71 and he sits a few seats over in Seat #2-68. I think highly of him, but I wish he was a better campaigner: he comes across as a crank at times, even though he actually is very sensible and good-humored. Here for example, he almost loses his temper at one or two points, even though he is dealing with two friendly interviewers.
He appeared on NH Capitol Access with Denis Goddard & Lydia Harman a few weeks ago. I am not sure of the exact date, but it was in late June or early July 2010.
