July 3, 1949 — December 7, 2010
I have mixed feelings about her husband even though I campaigned for him twice— but I had nothing but admiration for his wife. I am saddened by the death of Elizabeth Edwards, but I was so glad I got to know her, even if I only got to know her a little. She was a beautiful person, and she will be missed.
