Buy Textbooks without Leaving Second Life!

Two of my Second Life sisters are
selling textbooks at their storefronts. No, they're not selling
virtual textbooks: they are trying to sell Real Life college
textbooks, using book sellers such as
Amazon.com,
Half.com,
and
Barnes & Noble. The theory is that many Second Life players are
college students, and they may as well buy their textbooks while
playing. It saves you a little time, and the books get delivered
right to your mailbox, and you don't even need to stop playing Second
Life. Also, you are assured of getting the books you need: you don't
have to worry about how many copies your bookstore ordered.
The two convenient locations are:
Tammy Nowotny's shop is on the legendary Amsterdam sim, which is still a popular newbie hangout.
Carolie Watanabe's shop is on the new College Town sim, which is a new learning and play space for college students. Both these stores sell Second Life-related Real Life books as well as virtual clothes and accessories.
